Correm exists to make independent legal practice viable at scale so more lawyers can choose how, where, and for whom they work, and more companies can access senior legal talent without the overhead of a firm or a permanent hire.

To build the infrastructure that lets independent lawyers become the most efficient legal resource and provide companies with a faster, fairer way to access them.
The story
Correm started with a lawyer going independent. The work was there, the clients were there, the demand was obvious but the infrastructure wasn't. Billing, matter management, contracts, AI tools, business development: every part of running an independent practice had to be stitched together by hand.
So we built it. For two years we ran the practice manually — working with companies from seed to Series D, validating what fractional lawyers actually need to operate independently. Then we built the system around what was already working.
Today Correm is used by senior lawyers with experience from Clifford Chance, Bird & Bird, Norton Rose, Deliveroo, TikTok, McLaren and others. They work flexibly, on their own terms, with companies they want to work with and are crafting the careers they want to have.
What we believe

The existing models are not the only way lawyers want to work, or how companies want to buy. Technology opened up new model opportunities. We think independent practice, supported by the right infrastructure, is the future of legal work.

Senior legal expertise shouldn't be reserved for businesses that can afford a £1k/hr partner or a six-figure GC hire. Fractional lawyers, well-matched and well-equipped, close that gap.
